Multiple Openings — Hiring 4+ Experienced Winders
Location: Corpus Christi, TX — Relocation Required
Pay: $24.00–$34.00/hour DOE + Overtime
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
Relocation & Incentives
Up to $3,000 relocation reimbursement, $1,950 housing assistance, $1,000 Day 1 sign-on bonus, $1,500 at 90 days, and $1,500 at 180 days.
Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Electric Motor Winder Technicians to inspect, repair, manufacture and rewind copper windings for industrial electromechanical equipment, including AC/DC motors and generators.
What You'll Do
- Strip damaged windings and accurately record winding data
- Manufacture form-wound and random-wound copper coils
- Rewind stators, armatures, wound rotors and field coils
- Size copper wire using micrometers and calipers
- Install slot insulation, wedges, ties and blocking
- Make electrical connections using brazing, soldering or welding
- Apply varnish and complete dip/bake or VPI processes
- Perform Megger, surge, resistance, continuity and insulation testing
- Read motor schematics, winding diagrams and repair specifications
- Complete repairs according to EASA/AR100 practices
What We're Looking For
Minimum 3 years of hands-on industrial electric motor winding/rewinding experience. Candidates should understand AC/DC motors, copper coil manufacturing, winding data, insulation systems and electrical testing.
This is not a general motor mechanic or production coil-winding position.
Must be able to work safely in a shop environment, use precision measuring tools, stand or sit for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Must reside in or relocate to the Corpus Christi, TX area.
