Pay: $22.97–$27.00 per hour
Location: La Mesa, CA Area
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8.5-hour shifts between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
No weekends or holidays

We are hiring full-time Certified Medical Assistants for primary care, internal medicine, pediatrics, and specialty clinics.

Responsibilities

• Prepare examination and procedure rooms
• Check patients in and record medical histories and vital signs
• Assist providers with examinations and procedures
• Administer medications and injections when authorized
• Perform blood draws, EKGs, wound care, and specimen handling
• Coordinate referrals, laboratory testing, imaging, and follow-up appointments
• Maintain accurate electronic health records

Requirements

• At least one year of Certified Medical Assistant experience within the past two years
• Graduate of an approved medical assistant training program
• Current Medical Assistant certification or registration, such as AAMA or AMT
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification
• Ability to pass a government background investigation

Specialty, surgical, orthopedic, ENT, plastic surgery, or hospital experience is preferred for certain openings.
