AC/DC Motor Winder Technician
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced AC/DC Electric Motor Winder Technician to repair, rebuild, test, and rewind industrial electric motors and electromechanical equipment including experience winding and rewinding coils, armatures, stators, rotors, and transformers.
- Relocation reimbursement: Up to $3,000 with receipts
- Housing assistance: $650/month for 3 months ($1,950)
- Sign-on/retention bonuses: $1,000 at start, $1,500 at 90 days, and $1,500 at 180 days
Responsibilities
- Rewind AC/DC electric motors, armatures, wound rotors, stators, and transformers
- Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble industrial electric motors
- Perform electrical testing and troubleshooting
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Operate motor shop equipment and testing instruments
- Complete repair documentation and work orders
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Requirements
- Experience rewinding AC/DC motors, armatures, wound rotors, stators, or transformers
- Experience repairing industrial electric motors
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and motor testing equipment
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
